Christian Library International distributes Christian books to prisons, both here in the US and internationally. CLI was founded by Kathleen Skaar with 100 books at a YMCA in 1996 and is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. CLI is a Christian, non-denominational, 501c3 non-profit corporation. All gifts of books and cash donations are tax deductible. Christian Library International is supported by Jesus Christ and to Him alone we give the glory of this mission. There is a tremendous need for Christian books in prisons, both here in the US and abroad.

We receive book and cash donations from churches, foundations, Christian authors and publishers, and private individuals. CLI has been blessed by a continuous supply of Christian books in excellent condition. As we add additional prisons, we pray that God will continue to provide us books.

Christian Library International is run by diverse a team of Christian staff and volunteers both in Raleigh and in other locations. We actively seek volunteers to pray for our mission, help collect and ship Christian books, correspond with inmates, and help in a variety of positions.
