Bible Study
Our Christian Leadership Bible Study was designed and written to help men and women influence the ideas, opinions and actions of others for Jesus Christ. We want inmates to actively answer the call of God on their lives right in the prisons where they have been placed. The study is free for the incarcerated.
The first step is for the inmate to fill out an application and return it to CLI. If accepted he or she will receive the first lesson in the mail. After completing the lesson, it is returned to our offices where a volunteer reads and responds to their answers and questions. It is then returned with a new lesson by mail. There are 17 weeks of lessons and a certificate awarded after completion.
The following lessons may be downloaded and used personally. We invite prison chaplains and detention center personnel to print multiply copies for the populations that they serve. You may review the lesson yourself or have the inmate enroll as a correspondence student. Answer sheets will be provided to chaplains upon request.
