Off Site Volunteering
Church Relations
Call on the local churches in your own area and build relationships for partnering with CLI. Share the CLI story of reaching inmates. You will engage churches to do book and Bible drives, volunteer and to partner financially.
Prayer Warrior
Praises and requests are emailed to volunteers who are called by God and will commit to praying for CLI at least 15 minutes every week. You may pray from your home, office, church or anywhere that you travel or vacation. CLI has always been a praying ministry.
Quarterly Newsletter
Design and layout: Make artistic changes and layout the newsletter each quarter. You will help choose photos and illustrations. Please see current newsletter on the website.
Reporting and Writing: You will be responsible for receiving and suggesting assignments for the newsletter. Helping to proof and edit final product is also part of this volunteer position. Writing experience necessary.
Social Networking
We are interested in engaging volunteers who have expertise in social networking such as facebook, twitter and blogs. You would talk via phone with CLI staff and discuss objectives and goals of social networking for CLI. You will help CLI use the internet to glorify God and to further CLI’s mission.
